Assalamualaikum
Finally, I'm back with a new post! Been meaning to create this post tapi sekarang ni busy sangat dengan internship dekat Ibu Pejabat Polis. Balik dari kerja je terus rasa nak terjun atas katil. Ni time bulan puasa nasib baik takdelah penat sangat hahaha
Sehari sebelum puasa aku sempat singgah kat cafe ni sebab craving gila dengan pizza diorang! Ni kali kedua dah pergi sebab area cafe ni asyik ada kes covid je that's why jarang sangat pergi. Tapi selalulah order pizza diorang guna grabfood hahaha. So let's go!
Cafe ni tak besar and tak lah kecik sangat. Interior pun simple je tapi nice lah for me.
First time datang sini aku try diorang punya mango soufflé and iced matcha espresso.
Iced matcha espresso diorang sedap gils! Kebetulan pulak time tu aku memang perlukan caffeine hahaha. But sorry ya takde gambar sebab burokz sangat lighting gambar tu cisss
sehari sebelum puasa tu pulak aku order Blackfox (Chocolate crepe) with vanilla ice-cream on top. Ya Allah terliur pulak aku tengok gambar ni 😓 and it was good! Selalunya aku tak berapa suka letak aiskrim but this one rasa dia balance. Aku rasa kalau tak letak aiskrim tu orang akan cepat rasa muak sebab chocolate dia banyak sangat. Espresso tu pulak macam biasa lah rasa espresso hahaha
Kawan aku order original waffles. Waffles diorang kalini lebih rangup and sedap.
and my most favorite food pizza diorang!
Smokin hot & chicky pizza ni my top 2 favorites! Pizza diorang nipis & rangup sangat!!!!!! I don't know how to describe it tapi yang pasti lebih sedap dari pizza hut. PERIODT! Yang pizza smokin hot tu ada rasa spicy sikit. I have tried all 4 of their pizzas but tak boleh kalahkan yang dua ni lah hahaha. Actually pizza avocado island diorang pun sedap gak tapi aku sorang je suka makan so memang taklah nak habiskan sorang-sorang.
I actually took a lot of photos, but mostly dalam bentuk video so tak dapat nak upload dalam ni hahaha
So siapa-siapa yang dekat Kuching tu boleh lah singgah cafe ni and please lah try pizza diorang! Kalau tak disebabkan covid memang tiap minggu rasanya aku pergi cafe ni (they have new selection of pizza tapi dalam grabfood diorang takde pulak 😭😭)
OK, sampai sini sahaja review aku kalini hahaha bye and selamat berpuasa everyone!

If you have a skincare routine or just subscribe to the basics of skincare, you’ve probably tried a night cream—maybe you even use it every night (good for you!). But have you ever wondered why your skin might require a different moisturizer at night versus during a daily moisturizer? Is it some kind of marketing ploy, or is there any truth to the notion that your skin prefers one kind of cream at night and another during the day? We’ve got the scoop.
WHY NIGHT CREAM?
Night time is prime time for our bodies to repair, regenerate, and restore—and the skin, being the body’s largest organ, certainly takes part in the action. So, it’s no wonder that beauty products, particularly night face creams, contain more active ingredients than daily moisturizers do, because the skin is already in recharge mode and can really make the most of a potent formula. But, it’s also worth noting that many of the stronger anti-aging ingredients found in night creams increase UV sensitivity, so they’re best used after the sun’s gone down (this is also why it’s important to pair a night cream with a day cream containing SPF to protect your skin against free radicals during waking hours).
While many use the same moisturizing cream or lotion for both day and night when choosing skincare products, they may be wasting some benefits. Most day moisturizers are formulated with sunscreen which is something you should wear everyday, without fail, no matter the weather. UV rays are present when it's sunny, overcast or windy. Unless you live in the land of the midnight sun, SPF is not necessary at night.
THE BEST NIGHT CREAM FOR YOU
All night time moisturizers are not created equally—and that’s a good thing, because no two faces have the same needs. But it also means that the marketplace is cluttered with products, each claiming to do something different. How do you ensure that a night cream will deliver on its promises—and better yet, will work for your skin type specifically? The answer lies in that fine-print ingredient list on the back of the product package. Knowing what to look for here is a crucial step in finding your match.
Beneficial night cream ingredients, like glycerides, fatty acids, and ceramides, moisturize and repair the skin barrier, so they’re perfect for rejuvenating dry skin. You may see them paired with some firming ingredients, like retinol, lactic acid, and peptides, which tighten the skin and support collagen production. Then also on the anti-aging front, you have your antioxidant ingredients, like vitamin A, vitamin E, CoQ10, and green tea, which protect against sun damage and environmental stressors—as well as hyperpigmentation-fighters, like hydroquinone, kojic acid, and licorice, which even out the skin tone. Glycolic acid offers overnight benefits, addressing texture, tone and help diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
You may notice your skin actually looks better, first thing in the morning. When you sleep (increased sleep also helps), your body goes into a type of repair mode and this is when it produces new cells that help boost collagen production. You'll also notice how tired you look after a poor night's sleep as lack of sleep will interrupt collagen production.
Of course, it’s not just about the ingredient names listed on the package. Levels of ingredient concentration matters too, which is why the personalized skincare movement has proven so valuable. Some ingredients, like retinol, can cause irritation in unaccustomed skin, while skin that’s well-acquainted with retinoids might need a stronger formula in order for it to have any impact. So, starting light and building up is key. And, remember, just because it’s a night cream, doesn’t mean it’s an overnight miracle. Since the average person’s skin cells experience a full turnover about once every month, you should give a new formula at least that long before you give up on it.
THE VERDICT
Yes, night creams really are worth it—but as a caveat, you have to know what you’re looking for when adding one to your beauty routine. No one formula works for everybody. And, if trial and error isn’t your thing (or your bank account’s!), personalized skincare, where you can have a custom formula created, tailored to your skin, and enjoy some real beauty sleep, once and for all.

AS DIFFERENT AS NIGHT AND DAY?
Gentlemen. You may not be as tough as you think. Relax - we're referring to your skin.
A big misconception is that a man’s skin is “tougher” than a woman’s. In fact, while overall, men have 20% thicker skin than women, men’s skin is more susceptible to sensitivity, skin conditions and infection.
Surprised? Here’s why…
YOUR GENETICS DETERMINE YOUR SKIN
Skin sensitivity is a big part of your genetic makeup. Men’s skin tends to have higher sebum production (oilier skin) and larger pores which can lead to skin conditions and irritation. This is related to high testosterone levels. Depending on these levels, everything from skin texture, hydration, pH, aging and more will be affected.
And, of course, another major difference is because of shaving habits and facial hair, something women don’t deal with, at least not on a daily basis. On average, men will shave their faces over 10,000 times in their lifetimes. This leads to more sensitive skin and many men will opt for beards to avoid shaving or to cover irritation or conditions. Daily shaving can also lead to skin trauma, micro cuts and inflammation as well as bacterial and viral infections not normally seen in women.
The American Dermatology Association reports that wounds from skin trauma take longer to heal in men than women due to the additional and daily manipulation of skin. Male skin also has more sensitivity to ultraviolet light than female skin, contributing to more rapid signs of aging as well as an increased risk for skin cancer.
Male skin has higher collagen levels, yet that collagen decreases steadily as skin ages. This causes a more “weathered” look and because of the thicker texture, wrinkles appear more prominently, primarily on the forehead. Expression lines are more pronounced and eyelids tend to droop faster. Female skin, though thinner, has stronger collagen and estrogen levels. These remain steady until menopause when skin thins dramatically, breaking down collagen, elasticity and hydration levels due to dropping estrogen levels.
HOW CAN I TAKE CARE OF MY SKIN WITH THESE DIFFERENCES IN MIND?
Basically, men need to pay more attention to their skin. Despite the differences in skin, women’s skin tends to look better longer because of their routines and habits. Women seek out targeted skincare, specifically formulated for their skin type and concerns. They have dermatologists on speed dial and research the latest medical and cosmetic procedures. And, they use SPF products. Men rarely do any of these things.
Men need to find products specifically formulated for their skin; skincare for men. Just using a daily moisturizer with SPF can help, but a daily skincare regimen is best. This should consist of a gentle cleanser, a day moisturizer with SPF and a night moisturizer.
WHAT TO AVOID
Menthol
Steer away from skincare that contains menthol, denatured alcohol, peppermint or eucalyptus. These ingredients can irritate skin, so can highly fragranced products. Also avoid facial scrubs as these can cause micro tears and additional irritation on skin. Pass on the all-in-one products. These formulas can also be rough on skin.
Hot Water
When shaving, wash your face with a gentle cleanser first, to help soften hair. Shave at the end of your shower when your skin is most hydrated. Avoid using hot water, as it can cause redness and drying. Use a clean razor, rinsing it repeatedly and replace blade often. Follow with a fragrance free, gentle moisturizer with SPF in the AM, and use a moisturizer, specifically formulated for night use, before bedtime.
TRY PERSONALIZATION
Personalize your Skincare Routine
While there are many skincare lines, in drug and department stores, for men to choose from, finding a personalized regimen is highly recommended. Existing formulas are mass produced and bucketed for normal, oily or dry skin types. We each have an individual skin type as unique as our fingerprints and using a skin regimen that is targeted to your skin and concerns is the best solution.
Proven™ Skincare offers a personalized collection of products, supported by extensive research, and tailored to your unique skin type, issues and needs. By taking a simple and targeted skin assessment that focuses on lifestyle, diet, living environment, etc., gives a holistic picture of a person’s overall skin health and ultimately determines what products would be best suited for that individual.
A daily regimen, tailored to your skin should be part of your routine, just like brushing your teeth. It will become second nature, with a better shaving experience, fewer ingrown hair, less bumps, recurring acne or dry patches. The ultimate result will be smoother skin with better texture and tone and isn’t that worth a few extra minutes a day?

Gentlemen.
There is more to a skincare routine than your morning shave.
If your facial care routine consists of a razor and some random shaving cream – listen up. Men's skincare is not a luxury, it's a necessity. Everything from cleansers, moisturizers to sunscreen should be part of your skincare regimen.
You cannot hide behind that beard or scruff forever.
Many men prefer beards to shaving so they don’t have to deal with irritation and skin issues that many experience. Well, skin issues may be rooted in your lifestyle, genetics or how you’re treating your skin, so don’t blame your razor. However, if shaving is the sum of your grooming practice, this can contribute to a build up of dirt, sebum and dead skin cells leading to clogged pores, blackheads, blemishes and ingrown hairs that will further cause that irritation that you’re trying to avoid.
Admit it. You spend more time caring for car or your smart phone than your skin. Getting rid of that “5 o’clock shadow” or trimming your beard should be part of your routine, not your only routine. Just like your car, skin needs maintenance, too.
The most important step of the day – and night.
Cleansing your face in the morning, and at night, should be as routine as brushing your teeth.
The best start to your skincare routine is to open up those pores in a warm shower. The steam will help as well as loosen up dirt and impurities on the skin surface. If you have a fuller beard, soak in that steam for a few extra minutes.
Once those pores have had a chance to open up, wash your face, and your neck, with a daily facial cleanser best suited to your skin. Choose men's skin care products (don't bother with your wife's or girlfriend's brand) as they are specifically formulated for men's thicker facial skin and larger pores. Using a face scrub or exfoliator could prove helpful to your overall skin health, removing, excess oil, stubborn dry skin or dead skin cells.
What type of skin do you have?
Greasy nose and forehead, blackheads? Probably oily skin. A balancing cleanser will remove impurities and help control oil without drying skin. Bar soap is good, but specially-formulated facial cleansers are better. Lather up.
Itchy cheeks, redness? Sounds like dry skin. A gentle exfoliating cleanser, with natural ingredients, will whisk away dirt and dead skin, leaving it feeling nourished and comfortable.
Breakouts? Acne-prone skin can benefit from an anti-bacterial gel cleanser, washing away excess dirt and sebum and clearing clogged pores.
Rashes, irritation? This could be sensitive skin caused by anything from pollution, food allergies, stress or harsh products. Try an all-natural face wash that is fragrance-free.
No skin issues? Well, lucky you. A gentle daily cleanser will keep skin balanced and healthy-looking.
In addition to cleansing, moisturizing is key. Hydrating skin will keep fine lines and wrinkles diminished. A cream or lotion with sunscreen or an SPF 30 will protect skin from harmful UV rays when you're on the beach, slopes or doing other outdoor activities. A retinol-based face moisturizer will address and diminish signs of aging (you call them smile lines). You may also start to notice puffiness or dark circles. Add an eye cream to your skin care routine. Bearded fellows - condition that facial hair. Use a beard oil to keep that fuzzy face in check. A groomed beard is much more attractive and professional. A finished touch? A lip balm, preferably on with sunscreen, to keep lips soft and hydrated.
The shift to personalized skincare
No matter what type of skin you have or cleanser you choose, wash your face, and neck area, in the morning and at night. Showering first will open pores and cleansing skin will hydrate it, and prepped and in better condition for shaving. Complete your routine with a moisturizer with SPF for the AM and a night cream for the PM. Adding an exfoliator and eye cream will add to optimal skin health.
And, since every skin is as unique as your fingerprint, it may be time to research personalized skincare. Customized products focus on your skin’s specific needs and issues; one man’s irritated skin can be the result of an allergy, while another’s irritated skin may be caused by something in his diet.
Proven™ is personalized skincare. By taking a targeted skin assessment that focuses on your lifestyle, diet and other factors, Proven can pinpoint your specific skin type and issues, and formulate a daily (and nightly) skincare regimen, with a facial cleanser and moisturizers, perfectly suited to your unique skin.

When you’re a teenager, self-conscious and unsure, acne can weigh on your self-esteem and make you feel like isolating yourself. You dream of a day when you’re older and zit-free, only to discover that acne does not necessarily ride off into the sunset on your 18thbirthday. For up to 22% of adult women and 3 percent of adult men, acne is something that lingers well into your adult years.
What’s the difference between teenage acne and adult acne?
The definition of adult acne is acne that occurs in people older than 18 years of age. This extremely visible skin disorder affects women more than men, and tends to be more inflamed than adolescent pimples. Adult acne is often characterized by deep, painful cysts and tends to affect the cheeks and lower half of the face. Due to the inflammatory nature and deep, cystic appearance of lesions, facial scarring often occurs. This scarring can be particularly traumatizing for adults, which is why rapid treatment is recommended. However it can be hard to know which are the best products for adult acne which you should use, or whether there are other treatments options to consider.
Psychological Effects
Studies show that facial acne is linked to depression and anxiety. Pimples can impair self-image and cause people to isolate themselves. This has a major effect on mental wellbeing as well as one’s ability to develop and maintain friendships. Women tend to cover up acne with makeup, which can often irritate and clog pores, making symptoms worse.
TOP 5 CAUSES OF ADULT ACNE:
There are many different adult acne causes, which means that finding the best adult acne treatment for your skin will depend on what is causing your acne.
Hormones
The most common cause of adult acne is hormonal fluctuations. It’s common to experience breakouts during the second half of your menstrual cycle and then see symptoms calm down after your period arrives. This is perfectly normal. Unfortunately, adult hormonal acne is also the most difficult to treat, but healthy habits like maintaining a healthy weight and low stress levels can help to relieve the severity of your symptoms.
Hair Products
If your acne tends to appear on your forehead, cheeks, jawline and back, the culprit could be your hair products. Hair products are designed for your hair, not your skin, and often contain pore-clogging ingredients. Fragrances can also be laden with allergens, and tend to be used in higher levels in hair products. Avoid hair styles that fall into your face, like bangs. Wipe away excess styling product when you’re getting ready and make sure to change and wash your pillowcase frequently so that you’re not soaking up extra dirt and irritants while you sleep.
Facial Hair Removal
Your goal was to achieve soft, smooth skin but you end up with bumps instead. Whether you wax, pluck or shave, hair removal can often result in pimples. Use an aftershave with glycolic acid or other Salicylic Acid to help keep pores clear and prevent ingrown bumps and pimples from forming.
Diet
Luckily there is no proven link between chocolate and acne, so eat all you want! However, there IS a link between dairy and acne. Specifically, low-fat dairy is proven to aggravate acne issues. Dairy itself is often collected from cows treated with hormones, which is thought to influence our own hormonal fluctuations. Low fat dairy specifically spikes insulin levels which creates hormonal imbalances as well. If you’re trying to curb breakouts, choose full-fat, organic dairy whenever possible, or avoid it completely.
Stress
High stress levels are linked to inflammation, slow healing, low immunity and hormonal imbalances. Stress-relief is our favorite method of controlling acne because it involves fun activities like exercise, cooking healthy meals, laughing with friends and family, taking naps and self care. Yes, there are many excellent ingredients and adult acne treatments, but treating this condition topically is very one-sided. The mind-body connection is powerful- more powerful than Tea Tree Oil or Salicylic Acid. It can be hard to hear, but focusing on looking for the best acne face wash for adults or miracle cures for adult acne may not be the solution. If you really want to stop the cycle of inflammatory acne, it’s time to consider your daily habits and how you can become more healthy, relaxed and happy.
Adult Acne Sufferers: You’re not alone
The last thing to remember is that you are not on your own in this battle. Due to the prevalence of adult acne, there are many online forums and support groups to help you deal with the psychological effects of acne. It’s cliche, but we tend to look at our skin under a microscope, while others may not necessarily notice our imperfections at all. Finding other people who share your concerns can help put your adult acne in perspective and allow you to come to terms and heal from any emotional trauma you’ve endured. Letting go can also be a part of #5 above, so it doesn’t hurt to lean on others and take some of the pressure and judgment off yourself. Follow the steps above and learn more about the mind-body acne connection here.
